To get more control and clarify the message traffic on the ESB Vishnu will store all incoming and outgoing messages in a separate database.

The main goal is:

• To detect whether a message is received or delivered by the ESB.
• Storage of ESB error messages in the database to prevent the ESB from getting stocked.

From data stored in the database administrators can extract valuable and usefull information. For example the number of messages send/received and the number of error messages.
